Beginning of Our Very Own Desert Oasis

That's right we now have grass.....SOME grass! Our, "ever so gracious", landlord brought us 1.5 pallets of grass which covered about 1/2 of our back yard. We laid the grass yesterday and I now have what you call a "w.t sunburn"...tank top line & bra line. HAHAHA! (It's terrible!) We wish we had no dirt and all grass, but this is the WEST so I guess "dirt...sand" is part of the culture here! We planted a few fruit trees, flowers, and put up our hammock and have another .5 pallet of grass on it's way from El Paso...which should be here on Tuesday (thanks to Imelda...my friend down the road). We have what I consider...The Beginning of Our Very Own Desert Oasis.
