...Here's the story...
Our duplex has tile floors throughout (yes, all 1550 sq ft)! This is nice because I know when the floors are clean and when they're dirty, unlike carpet; however, it seems to be such a pain to clean! I usually vacuum the floors first which does great with picking up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair but obviously doesn't get those scuff marks off! You might be asking well where do those scuff marks come from?!?!
TAKE A WILD GUESS! =) The hubs does a great job of not wearing his shoes in the house except for (everyday) when he forgets something and he runs back inside for just a second. I completely understand not taking your shoes off for this, but it does definitely add to this little cleaning dilemma that I'm experiencing; HAHA! (I must admit I'm guilty too!)
So in hopes to get the scuff marks up I use a swiffer sweeper, with the wet cloths, but it seems that I have to change the cleaning pad so many times to do 1550 sq ft. and those scuff marks don't come off easily even with me applying lots of pressure which kills my back! I've been thinking...there has got to be an easier way!
...So I've been looking at purchasing a steam mop. I've heard lots of good things so I'm hoping the good comments outweigh the few bad ones! It just seems that the steam would allow these scuff marks to come off more easily and I wouldn't be waisting money on those cleaning pads! I've been doing my research and I think I have it narrowed down to this one:

But I'm also now in the market for a new vacuum cleaner! For whatever reason our vacuum cleaner is now really, really, really loud and sends vibrations throughout my whole body when I use it! HAHA! Chad has reassured me that it's not broken and that it's a good workout...this is the solution he provided for me:
