I can now openly write an extended PRAISE THE LORD blog! =)
Since our move to Travis County this summer and my move here in June, I have been struggling in the job department!
It took what seemed like forever to get hired after my interview with with Circle of Care Pediatrics earlier in the summer, but I did get hired and there were lots of struggles in different areas. Through the struggles I can say that there was some positiveness in the mix. I learned that I really enjoy home health and I ended my time with Circle of Care with a wonderful supervisor! I didn't have enough patients, and being paid per visit was just not working out with my minimal caseload of 5! Through months of waiting, marketing, and patience giving...I just couldn't do it anymore.
Thankfully I didn't have to look far because another opportunity presented itself to me! HOW WONDERFUL!
I went for an interview and immediately received a call back with an offer for employment and I'm glad to say that my last day with Circle of Care was this past week and my first day with Connect Care will be Monday!
I start orientation next week, Monday & Tuesday, and should begin meeting my patients the following week.
I met with my new supervisor this morning and she seems wonderful!
I couldn't be more excited and ready to start!
It was definitely hard leaving my patients and my fabulous supervisor...but new things are on the horizon, and I'm ready!
...& I'm definitely ready for a normal paycheck as I'm sure my husband and bank account are too!
