A Letter To Baby...

So we FINALLY let the month long secret out of the bag! Chad and I couldn't be more excited!
Below is a letter that I wrote to Precious Baby West the night we found out...

Tonight we found out that we were expecting you; I couldn't believe it! Your dad was working and I was home alone with Callie & Mudder. I suspected and hoped that I was pregnant but I guess I didn't really believe that it would be true. My plan was to take a test on Wednesday morning as we had already discussed, since we would both be off, but I couldn't wait and didn't really believe it would happen. We've only been trying for 5 months, but we've secretly talked about you since we fell in love over 5 years ago. After negative results over the past few months, I was completely shocked to see the immediate, huge sign that God had indeed sent you to us! I cried and began jumping up and down praising the Lord and I couldn't stand the though of not calling Nana K! I was also missing the first love of my life, your daddy. I called him and told him a little "story" that I needed to fax something at the police station in Jonestown. He said he would meet me there which is where I showed him the pic of our positive result. He was speechless with a huge smile! We are so happy and so excited! We've already planned how we will announce your arrival in mommy's tummy! You are our little poppyseed this week and we can't wait to introduce you to the rest of the fam! I know Nana K & Poppa J will be thrilled beyond excitement; Papaw & KK will be shocked beyond words; Auntie Apes, Uncle Justin, Presley, & Paisley will be joyful with love; Memaw will be proud with praise; Kri, Kels, & Pat will be so happy & impatient to be your very own aunts & uncle; and Mamaw will cry with words of love I'm sure. You have so many friends and other family members who will be in complete shock and so ready to welcome you...but we're not telling them yet; we're keeping you all to ourselves. We love you so much!
