Month 12

How can it be that 12 months have passed since I gave birth to my sweet baby boy?!?!  I still can't believe we now have a toddler!  (obviously he's still keeping me very busy because as you can see I have hardly no time to blog anymore...so here I go playing catch up! Yes...I sometimes back date these blogs because I'm OCD and like them on the exact date!)

At the time of Kylan's 1st birthday he has 8 teeth (4 upper, and 4 lower), continues to love fruit (especially bananas!), takes 3 bottles a day at meal times (still formula) w/ a combination of baby food and table food, weighs 20.12 pounds, measures 30" long, still sleeps through the night with bedtime now around 9 p.m. (and sleeps almost 12 hours!), loves his "Lady" (stuffed puppy dog that he sleeps with), is fascinated by cars (and anything else w/ wheels!), says "mama", "dada", "muh" (Mudder), & "bye".  He claps, waves, blows kisses, and roars like a dinosaur when requested.  Kylan loves playing in the church nursery even though he initially cries during the transition from mommy to nursery room. He loves playing outside and wants to crawl all over the place (yes, even on concrete while wearing shorts...ouch!).  He still stays home 7 days a week and his favorite (& only) babysitters are Payton & Aunt Paula.  Kylan is not walking (yet) but continues to crawl at record speeds and pulls up and walks along everything in the house.  He is currently wearing 9-12 month clothes (in separates) and 18 month clothes (in onesies, rompers, etc); he's long!  He is funny and loves to laugh!  He dances to music and likes it when others dance too!  He is truly our pride and joy.
