Life's Journey

What can I say?!?! Last night I attended a 6 man football game! Yea!!! Sierra Blanca played at home and Chad & I watched the game with George (Game Warden in Culberson County....Van Horn) and his family. It was very entertaining and actually a great game! I think the final score ended up being 49-46?!? The field is only 80 yards and the scoring is different...so it takes some adjusting to figure out what is going on.
It's so interesting to me and something that I learned by moving out here. People are 'generally' the same everywhere. Sure maybe a different race, a different religion, a different language...etc but people are people.
At the game last night the cheerleaders, football players, coaches, and fans were all so proud and so 'pumped up'. It was awesome to see. To them...this is it! And it is! They had pride, they had courage, they showed determination. I love it!
Each day I am more inspired. Everyone has a story...you should take the time to listen and learn!
My kids at school are great and have touched my heart just like my kids in Athens. Children and children and to me...so easy to love.
My job can be so stressful, most of the time, but the kid's smiles...waves...yells down the hall....it all makes it worth it!
Take some time to grow...get out of your comfort zone...it really is amazing!
