We TOTALLY enjoyed Thanksgiving at home! I woke up early and headed to the gas station for the newspaper so I could start planning my Black Friday shopping. I came home searched through the ads and cooked breakfast; yummy yummy cinnamon toast! After breakfast, Chad & I spent hours in the kitchen together preparing our first ever Thanksgiving meal (yes we've had many Thanksgivings together but never just us and never just us preparing all the food, HA!). I was a little nervous especially since I have NEVER made chicken and dressing but thanks to my research on the internet my recipe find was a HUGE hit with the hubs! Our Thanksgiving dinner included: chicken and dressing, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, salad, rolls, and chocolate pie. I tried to make another side or two (something else with color, but Chad said we had more than enough food, HA!) Huge props to my hubs because he is such a help, he always is, but I just can not get over how blessed I am to have him as my husband. This Thanksgiving showed me that we are our own family and we can do anything that we set our minds to, even cooking a huge feast just for the 3 of us. Yes, Kylan enjoyed the meal just as much as anyone; ::hehe::! ...Seriously, I have the best husband in the world and for that I am forever thankful! It was truly a Happy Thanksgiving!
Callie looks a little overwhelmed!
