Have you been participating in the 30 Days of Thankfulness?
(...I have via Facebook so I thought I'd share weekly on my blog to do a "recap")
Day 1: I am thankful for a husband that loves our son and is just as involved in his daily life as I am. He is the best daddy in all the world! *SO BLESSED*
I couldn't ask for a better husband or a more perfect dad for Kylan. Chad is the best father a child could ever have; I truly believe that! He does anything and everything for Kylan. They play, they cuddle, they "wrestle" (Chad's favorite), they rock, they take strolls through the yard, they watch cartoons together, they watch educational videos that Chad finds on YouTube together, etc. HE IS AMAZING! & yes he does the all important things to help me with Kylan as well...changing diapers, feeding, and putting Kylan to bed. Chad rocks and although I knew from the start he would be a great dad he has completely blown away any preconceived ideas that I thought he would be great...NO, HE IS AMAZING! I am so blessed to have Chad to help share in these wonderful memories we are making with Kylan. Chad and I have always been a great team and even more so now as we raise our precious baby boy. Thank you God for a wonderful husband that is an extremely amazing father!
Day 2: I'm so thankful for my Bubba Love. He is my pure happiness! I never knew I could be so in love with someone besides my husband; Kylan proved me wrong. He is my joy, my life, and the complete apple of my eye. The pride I feel as his mommy is unending. I am so BEYOND thankful for him.
The love I have for Kylan is indescribable! I want nothing more than to spend every waking hour playing with him, holding him, and teaching him. He has brought purpose to my life and I'm not sure how I ever lived without him. He is the center of my universe and the calm to every day. I will spend the rest of my life loving him with all of my heart and because of him I am a better person. Thank you God for giving me Kylan who we talked about for so long and prayed we'd one day be ready for. You gave us time to grow together and become a truly united husband and wife and then prepared our hearts for the greatest blessing imaginable. So beyond thankful!
Day 3: I am thankful that God protects and watches over my husband. & so thankful that I no longer listen to a scanner!
P.W.T.G.W. is what I am! It brings my heart comfort and peace knowing that God watches over and protects Chad as he works every day and it brings me hope for his safe return since I know Chad's #1 priority at work is to come home safe each and every night to Kylan and I. Thank you Lord for moving us away from the border so that I no longer have to listen to a scanner for my safety. There are times when a wife should never have to hear certain things and incidents that happen that can bring great fear but my trust is in YOU that you have my husband in the palm of your hand and for that I am thankful.
Day 4: Thankful that even though Kylan didn't get the "fall back" memo he still was just as happy as could be when he woke me up around 6:30 this morning, HA! ♥ ♥ ♥ my happy chill Bubba Love!
Kylan is waking up earlier and going to bed earlier; he definitely didn't get the "fall back" memo and that's okay because he's still my happy go lucky baby boy! ...maybe soon he'll transition back to sleeping in until 7:30 or so! & if not that's okay because that just means rise and shine and happy times with my Bubba Love! I am thankful for my Bubba Love and whatever time he wakes up or goes to bed because he is a gift from God.
Day 5: I am thankful for conversations with my Pattywack. Although we weren't born "blood related" it's arguable and we might should double check the DNA. ♥ him so much...yes even when he frustrates me on purpose. Life would not be the same with him.
My "love brother" (as I like to call him) always (USUALLY) brings a smile to my face. ...& well if it's not a smile on the outside it's a smile on the inside because I want to wring his neck; HA! ;) We have such a great relationship and I'm so thankful that he's in my life. I only wish we lived closer so we could hang out 24/7; yes that's how much I love him! Thank you God for Pattywack.
Day 6: Thankful for those who have served and continue to do so to protect our rights. We live in the greatest country in the World but we must do everything that we can to get it back on the right track.
*V*O*T*E* TODAY!!!!!!!!! Many before us have made the ultimate sacrifice for this freedom, exercise that right and vote, vote, vote!
We do live in the greatest country in the World. I am so thankful for those that have put their life on the line and for those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Thank God for the USA and for our military men and women.
Day 7: I am thankful that even though my presidential candidate did not win, I know the one that has it all in his hands. Praying for our country, praying for our president and praying for all the other leaders in our cities and states.
I can rest in the fact that I know who has the whole world in His hands; my Jesus. I pray for President Obama that he would drown himself in prayer for our country and be lead by the Lord with the decisions that he makes. I'm not sure of his "religion" or "salvation" but I pray for that as well. Yes, some say he is a Christian some say he is Muslim...how do you know. Only God knows the trueness of a man's heart and I pray that if it's not right that he will "get right" with the Lord. I pray for our country that we would be a country after God's own heart. Thank you God for being a true leader.
