Saturday we traveled to El Paso (nothing new for me!) to Captain Newman's house for a 'pre-holiday' get together/meeting.
It was nice to be together again in a positive/pleasant environment. Most all of our Region Wardens were there (Captain Newman, Warden Legarretta, Warden Spears, Warden Barrett, Warden May, Warden West, Warden Self, Warden Rogers, Warden Moerbe, Warden Barch, Warden Bridgefarmer, Warden Albright). We were missing Warden Porter but were proud of him for taking part in something that was so special to him and his family. God Bless You! WE MISSED YOU!
Spouses and families attended so Captain Newman & Katy had a full house. Many thanks to them for being so hospitable!
We had a fantastic linner (combination of lunch & dinner)...BBQ and all the fixins'. After hours of fellowship and a short meeting everyone started to leave...but of course, our core group stuck together! We enjoyed laughs, drinks, and good fun with each other (Captain Newman, Warden May, Warden West, Warden Self, & Warden Rogers) and our families. Once we decided it was time to leave our group split...some to the mall & some to the bowling alley!
We had a lot of fun & need to do this more often!

So glad yall had fun! Sorry we missed out on it! We had fun, though and got a LOT of shopping done!
