Change Things with Knowledge...

-STARTING YOUR DAY RIGHT-
Devotions for Each Morning of the Year
Joyce Meyer
December 5

"Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him and He will bring it to pass." (Psalm 37:5)

We are all eager for our situations and relationsihps to change, but nothing will change in our lives without knowledge of God's Word. In Hosea 4:6 God says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Change comes through prayer, and then through waiting patiently on God. While we are waiting for God to solve our problems, we are not to complain to everybody else about our situtation.

God tells us to trust Him. He is not asking us to trust the people involved in our problems; He is asking us to trust Him. There is a difference. He is faithful to rescue us from all our troubles.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Each day just gets better and better.
These devotionals have touched me so that I wrote Joyce Meyer and her team myself. I thanked them for their devotion to God, their love for the Lord, and unending desire to encourage others. They actually wrote me back and were very encouraging to my situation and needs. They even said that they had a gift in the mail for me that they hope can minister to me even more.
HOW AWESOME IS THAT! I was so shocked when I got a personal reply! So cool! Thanks Joyce!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am steadily amazed at how God works, at how true His Word is and at how real it is in my life right now.
Even though this is such a troubling time for me, I feel that I've never been stronger in the Lord.
You know the Lord uses all things for His glory...and that is truly happening in my life right now!
SO in these 'down times with others' and I UP IN THE LORD! (Sounds ghetto I know!)
So really...in all times Praise God...in all times Seek God...and in all times Thank God. (I used that quote in some order at my dad's funeral)...and I LOVE IT!
With a Thankful Heart,
~Amanda~

P.S. HAPPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DEAR MINNIE (in Heaven)...YOU ARE SO MISSED AND I WISH YOU HAD NEVER LEFT ME! I am doing all I can to respect your name, work ethic, and love for you family! You were the one in my family who made the greatest impact on all of us (my dad, my mom, and me). I know you are in Heaven with my dad and proud of me for 'standing up' for myself. God Bless You! I send you many hugs and kisses today!!!!!!!!!!!!!
