So Much Fun in the East!

Well Chad and I have been in East Texas for approximately 24 hours now.
We left Tuesday morning @ 3:07 (Mountain Time) and arrived in Texarkana at approximately 4 p.m. (Central Time).
When we arrived we had a good visit with my mom and Kelsey. Jay was working and Patrick and Kristen were at a movie.
Chad decided that he just HAD to go to Gander Mountain so we braved the traffic and the last minute shoppers for our looking pleasure at G.M. =)
When we got home we had dinner with everyone; ham, mashed potatoes, macaronni and cheese, rolls, salad, purple hull peas & lots of desserts! YUM!!!!! It was so good! NOBODY MAKES MASHED POTATOES LIKE MY MOMMA!
After dinner Kelsey went to the movies with her mom and the rest of us kiddos schemed up a trip to Shreveport!
We left around 10:30 p.m. and headed to El Dorado...Chad, Patrick, Kristen, & I.
We played craps all night and all did very well! We got home around 4 a.m. this morning! WOW! Good times, good times!
We woke up this morning and all beautified ourselves for our traditional family Christmas photo op!
We took our pictures down town at the train station. Oh, they're going to be soooo cute! I can't wait to get them and post them for you to see!
After our pics Chad, my mom, Jay, & I went to visit my mamaw. She looked really good and her speech was very intelligible. I'm so proud of her. We had a good visit and it was so good to finally see her in peace. =)
We are now waiting to go to church for the Christmas Eve services. Chad & Patrick are playing the Wii, Kelsey is taking a nap, Kristen is with delivering gifts, Callie is passed out on the pillow next to me, and my mom and Jay are visiting with me as I type!
Well, I'm off to put my heels on and round up my husband.
I am so glad to be 'home' and love my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas Eve to You and Yours!

We so enjoyed this visit - it seemed like it was so much longer than in the past. I was glad I got to cook you some mashed potatoes and Chad his saugage balls. I know that Patrick, Kristen and Kelsey were glad to do more fun stuff.

We already miss you. We look forward to a day in the future when you are able to come and hang out any day.

Love,
Mom
