The hubs went on a duck hunting trip that will now become a yearly tradition; he missed out last year but did attend the year before and insists that this will be an every year occurrence. Fine with me!
He traveled to Port Aransas with his uncle Ricky, cousin Eric, 2 friends of theirs, and Theron (Travis County Game Warden/Friend). They had a blast and I am so proud because Chad FINALLY shot his dream duck...a pintail drake!
It is currently at the taxidermist who says that it's the biggest he's ever seen; WOOHOO...go Chad!!!! (I'm not usually a huge fan of dead animals hanging on the wall, but I am okay with keeping it confined to certain areas...especially since he's been waiting years to get this one bird!)
