...I've been on the lookout for something to store our pillows in, since our bed hardly ever gets made; that's just the way life is when the wifey leaves the house before the hubs 5/7 days. ;) I don't complain because well I'm really not home long enough, at least before I climb in, for it to bother me. But what does bother me is the cascading stack of pillows (some quiet expensive) that just lay on the floor everyday....HM! I've been looking for the perfect storage piece so I can store these beautifully and properly, even though an unmade bed is not the most attractive thing, but I'm convinced it WILL look better than an unmade bed and pillows scattered on the floor. ;) My first idea (thanks to my mom) was a water trough; I planned on purchasing it and spray painting it to add some dimension to our bedroom...that was until I started pricing them...yikes! So today on the way home from work I stopped by Goodwill and I'm so glad that I did! I found this trunk...love it! It's actually an auction piece so I plan on returning Saturday! The contents also come with the trunk but I can't figure out what it is, obviously an old candelabra stand or some sort of lighting mechanism....but the other piece has me stumped! Anyone know what it is? (the Goodwill guy thought it might be some sort of cotton spinner?!?!?) What ya think????
