Neon Moon

When I was a little girl I remember going with my parents to country and western dance lessons at the college.  I would sit and watch, stare and listen, wish and dream.  The song that I remember them playing the most is "Neon Moon" by Brooks and Dunn.  My parents (and all the other adults) would dance and I loved everything about it!  Every time I hear this song it takes me back to sitting on the stage watching my mom and dad.  It brings back happy memories.  It sometimes brings tears.  It brings back all things wonderful.

Yesterday I shared my first dance with Kylan to Neon Moon.  We danced down the hall into his room. Chad and I danced too.  It was wonderful.  I love my man who listens.  I love my man who cares.  I love my man who is sentimental enough to realize what's important.

I love our life.

Listen: Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn
