Year #3...COMPLETE!!!!!!

Well I made it through my third year in the school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant!!! I do love my job, even though its non-stop group after group...never ending paperwork and no time for adequate planning! The kids are what make it worth it for me! I got a small gift from one of my 2nd grade boys on Thursday with a card from his parents that read "MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU! Mrs. West...Thank you for taking so much time with helping _ _ _ _ _. We appreciate all of your hard work this year with him. We send you a heartfelt thank you for all that you have done."
It's so nice to have parents who are involved not only in their child's education but also special services.
Below is a picture of HALF of my students! We gave away books for summer reading, since I did some MAJOR Spring cleaning in our Speech room before the end of the year. The kids were allowed to take as many books as they wanted. They were so excited. It was great to see so many smiles! Some left with 2, and some left with 15 or more!
Other students not pictured (all 33) were attending end of the year parties...etc!
