Wednesday, 7: I arrived in Texarkana late Wednesday evening and enjoyed a few hours before bedtime visiting with Mom,Jay, & Kristen!
Thursday, 8: I spent the day shopping with Lauren (Abby Gayle's, Beehive Shoes, & Victoria Secret) and we pigged out on some burgers and fries at TLC; YUM!!!!!! I miss this girl so much and hope for a day where we can have these "outings" more often! After our day of spending money on shoes and bras...haha, I went home to rest before a night out with Lauren & Lee! I couldn't wait to meet him and was more than impressed with Lauren's love! I am so happy for her and I pray that this relationship continues to grow stronger and can remain a lifelong happiness for them both! We enjoyed a tasteful dinner at Texas Roadhouse and spent the rest of our time driving around town on the "house search"! Maybe in the very near future...we'll both have a house! =)

Friday, 9: Mom and I spent most of the day shopping for baby gifts for one of my girlfriends before we left for our trip to Dallas. Mom, Jay, Kri, & I left for Dallas Friday afternoon and enjoyed a night full of shopping at the Galleria & eating at The Cheesecake Factory! I finished my purchases for my mom for Christmas and bought a few other gifts while we were there! We spent the night at a hotel, waiting impatiently for Patrick's arrival at DFW the following morning!

Saturday, 10: We woke up early Saturday morning to anxiously await the arrival of Patrick's plane...after much pacing and waiting we were informed that his plane would be a few hours late due to icy conditions. So....we left and went shopping...AGAIN! Ha...when you have nothing else to do...just shop! We shopped so much that we were almost late! Patrick landed and I was soooooo happy to see him! (Thank you dear God for keeping him safe in Iraq just as you did in Qatar!) We left the airport and headed home! We enjoyed lunch at a steakhouse and sang all the way home (I seriously think Patrick & I could start our own album!); I LOVE THAT BOY! I was planning on a quiet night at the house with Patrick, Mom, Jay, & Kristen...but it didn't really end up that way! I met Patrick & some of his buddies at The Icehouse where we enjoyed some drinks, magic, and fun! From there we left and went to a friend's house where we talked by a campfire...wow, I miss these kind of East Texas times! Saturday night came and went into Sunday morning...

Sunday, 11: Sunday was literally a day of rest! ...Until Patrick, Kristen, & I packed up and were Shreveport bound! We left for Shreveport late Sunday evening and enjoyed a night FULL OF FUN! We made the rounds to the Horseshoe & El Dorado (we might have made it over to Samstown...I really don't remember...); anyways we had fun and it was a much needed Love Brother/Sister trip away!!!!!

Monday, 12: ...After a long night and early morning we woke up as we should've been checking out; so we begged and pleaded for a later checkout and our wish was granted! When we got up...we got out and headed back to T-Town! Lots and lots and more and more resting until it was time for Kelsey's birthday dinner at the Olive Garden! We celebrated BIG TIME (haha) with a family dinner and then afterwards...shopping! Mom, Kristen, & I headed to Dillards while Patrick & Jay made a quick stop to the mall and then headed home; Kelsey departed after dinner. We (the ladies) spent our time shopping for a new winter coat...I found the cutest; we'll see if I get it for Christmas!!!!!!! (it's yellow & I'm super excited about that!)

Tuesday, 13: Tuesday morning mom and I headed to Athens to pick up a night guard for me that they hoped would cure these headaches...so far...that doesn't seem to work so obviously the problem is not with me grinding my teeth (which I didn't think I did...but hey, we're looking for any kind of solution here!). After the short stop at the dentist office we enjoyed lunch at Rounders and continued the very scary drive to Dallas in the torrential downpour! We made it early so mom dropped me off so she could begin her long drive back to Texarkana; I was glad to hear when she made it back safely before my plane even took off! Yea...I was REALLY early to the airport!
...I had a wonderful trip back to East Texas! It's always nice to be surrounded with loving friends and enjoy lots of fun times! The memories keep me wishing for the next trip home!
