One of my absolute favorite things to do is shopping for antiques. I'm not one who is "studied up" on what's valuable...I just like to look through all the old pieces in antique stores for things with character that I can put "the Amanda spin" on! I love to buy things and fix them to suite my taste. Today while I was browsing I found 2 items that made me think of 2 peeps near and dear to my heart and 1 piece that I couldn't leave the store without!

MY new make-up chair! I plan on sanding, painting, and reupholstering; I have the paint picked out and fabric purchased!
