George Whatley Pics

I'm so glad that George downloaded some of his pictures to our computer. We will have these forever to cherish the good times & memories that George leaves behind.
These are just a few of George working & with his family.

The boys & only 2 of the dogs...where's all the others?!?!

What a great legacy this man leaves behind! George was a hard working man who had his own business in Cass County, worked as an Ag teach for several years, and finally reached his dream of becoming a Texas Game Warden. George was staioned in Austin Texas for 7 months while his wife and 2 sons stayed back home. George completed the academy and was stationed in Culberson County (~15 hours from "home"). George came to WEST Texas where he lived with Ricky (Chad's partner) for approx 1 month until George found a place for him and his family to live. The boys and Kelly moved out here and supported George all along this journey. They made frequent trips home...to the place they loved so much!!!!!! George enjoyed his job but was so ready to be back in East Texas. Chad & George had many great rides and talks together and George was someone who Chad really looked up to. Such a great Christian man! I remember when Chad and I were in Athens just a week or so ago...and Chad & I were lying in bed....Chad said "I just want to be a better person...there are things that I want to do that I have never done. I want to be more involved in church. I want to have a family and raise our children the right way". I truly believe alot of this has to do with George and his family. George made a lasting impression in both mine and Chad's life. God worked through George in many ways and I know he is still continuing to do so. Praise God for the work he is still doing through George!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love and miss you soooooooooooo much!
