Today is my dad's birthday.
It saddens me deeply to know that he is not here for me to celebrate this very special day with him.
However, I can remember and cherish all 19 birthdays that I was able to celebrate with him.
Loosing my dad at such a young age...19 for me, 43 for him was by far the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with.
Today will be a day of mixed emotions.
From Earth to Heaven...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY...

oh how sweet I have now had my cry for the day. I couldn't imagine losing my dad!! I don't know how far y'all are from Derek and Emily but we are going to be down there the weekend of the 17th so maybe we can get together!
