My doctor visit on Monday went well; after asking me questions about my week of progress after “the injection”, Dr. Gupta said that he could give me another shot. Chad & I considered this heavily but since we dealt with a week of head/sinus colds I decided that the best decision would be to wait until all of that cleared and I had a good vision of my normal day to day “head feelings”. I do believe that the temporary nerve block/steroid injection worked and I pray that it continues to provide relief for me and my diagnosis of Occipital Neuralgia for a very long time! I will keep you updated on my progress and I truly appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers through email, texts, and messages. The relief that I’ve felt within the past week, although I’ve still had a few episodes, is totally worth the trip, money, and scheduling; Lord willing I won’t be going back to the doctor for a while! Your continued prayers would be greatly appreciated.
