Antiques

Yesterday I spent the day antique shopping with my good friend Dawn, our school librarian. I absolutely love Dawn and I'm so glad that we work at the same school! I'm so glad that we were finally able to get together and spend the day spending some money! Dawn took me to some antique places on the Westside that I had never seen or heard of...YAY!!!!!! I was so excited!

Beautiful Angel

Dawn drove me around the country club to show me some AWESOME houses. Everything was so beautiful; I felt like I was back at home...home, home! There were trees, grass, crape myrtles...it was lovely! Then we found this angel that was carved from a tree...it was huge and so heavenly!

My Antique Finds

Antique wooden ironing board! I saw this and HAD to have it! It wasn't even for sale...but I made an offer and left with it in my hand! (Currently undecided on where I will put it...but when I do decide, you can be sure there will be more pics to come!)


Antique black wooden distressed chair! (Callie would not get out from in front of my camera lens; she liked this chair just as much as I did!)




Dawn & I think this means it's worth some money! ...Maybe we'll make it to The Antique Roadshow

It found a home in our living room, for now!
