BE-CAUSE...our landlord just called to tell me that the renter for our duplex has signed a lease and put down a deposit. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! God is truly so, so good! Although we felt that the renter was legit and meant all that he said...you just never know until you know...and now we know. =) WHEW!
Chad made a call to our F.A. (financial advisor) just yesterday and our money is on the way...we are putting 20% down so we don't have to pay PMI and so our payment will be lower. Minnie would be so proud that she was helping us buy our first place, God rest her soul; that lady was the most outstanding woman I knew and I'm proud to say that I had a great grandmother who loved me dearly. I'm in tears now just thinking about it...she really would be so, so proud!
Prayers going up that the bank, title company, and seller are all in agreement for moving up the closing date if possible!!! (originally scheduled for February 11...hoping for the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd)...we'll see!
