Yes...It's ME

So, after catching up on my blog pal's latest posts I began to realize that I'm really the only person I know who blogs without children; HA! I initially started blogging when we moved to the middle of the desert, Sierra Blanca Texas to be exact. Blogging became a way for me to keep our family and friends up to date with life in the middle of nowhere; exciting, I know! =)



I've really come to love blogging as it allows me to share my thoughts, feelings, hopes, dreams, and sometimes down moments in life. It's just a good way to "put it out there" for whoever wants to indulge. It''s crazy to look at how many blog views I get a day, and then to think that most posts go with very few or possibly without any comments. I'm glad to know you're reading even if you're not responding!

So all that to say, here it goes...another blog about M-E!

Do you ever get that "you look just like someone I know" response from people? ...No?!?!? WOW....I can't tell you how many times I've heard this in the past few years...it's actually starting to freak me out; HA! I hear this weekly, from complete strangers in sometimes the most awkward places! The most recent occurrence happened today as I was browsing through Super Target. This super cute young couple, pushing a buggy with a toddler...(here we go again with the child thing) noticed me and I noticed them. I wasn't sure what they were thinking but I was thinking...aw they're so cute...they would probably totally love Chad & I; HA! I continued to browse and again we made eye contact...strange!!! The lady informed me that they had been watching me and were talking about how much I look like one of their friends! I laughed and told them that I get this often and that it was starting to weird me out. Ha, we all laughed! She continued with telling me the other girls name, as if I would know her. ...Ginger...nope, don't know her! I laughed and said well, "My name's Amanda! Nice to meet you!" Her husband cracked a joke and we parted... They were so cute...would it have been even more awkward if I was to ask for their number and address?!?!? HAHAHA!!!!! I'm confident we could've been life long friends! Oh well, maybe another time...another place we'll meet again! & I will definitely be on the look out for this Ginger girl! =) She must be pretty darn cool!

....& this past week, I was questioned at Mystic Tan, on Tuesday to be exact! Does Ginger tan there?!?! Maybe I'll ask next time! HA! Obviously us Gingers, Amandas, and whoever else out there have something memorable about us that makes people openly question and inform us that we have many twins around the world!
