I drove by the house on the way home and noticed that someone was there packing up.
I stopped and it was Mr. Lawrence himself and a friend!
He was very nice and I'm sure he could tell that I was overly excited about his house becoming our first home!
Closing is still set for February 11, but I hope to hear from the bank the first of next week and I hope, hope, hope we can close before then! Fingers crossed because I'm so ready!!!!!!!
Small update:
The bank called on Friday and said that we had a Conditional Approval and the underwriter was requiring some more info from us in regards to deposits made into our account. They provided me with certain dates and amounts so I QUICKLY printed the check images from our paychecks to prove that it is our salary and not cash money that I earned on the street corner. HA, a little humor is needed during these non patient moments for me...I'm so ready to close and move in!!!!!!!!!! I want THAT house to be OUR house already! =)
...ON a serious note, I am super thankful that all has worked out with our duplex and the renter who will be moving in, I am thankful for Mr. Lawrence and his patience, I am thankful for our realtor who is so super flexible (with her schedule), and most of all I'm so thankful for my husband who reminds me to stay calm and keep my excitement/stress under control! =) Thank you LORD for providing for us so that we can have our first place and continue to grow in You!
