To make a long story short the lease that we are currently in for our duplex is a 12 month lease instead of a 6 month lease which is what we agreed to (verbally)...long, long story.
We sought legal advice from our lawyer...we thought about it...prayed about it and decided that we needed to wait. We were able to get out of our offer with only loosing $100 thanks to the 10 day option period that our realtor suggested we purchase when we initially put in our offer.
Well, just a week or so later we found someone who was interested in renting our duplex (HOORAY!!!)
So we are currently waiting on him to get approved and to sign a contract to lease our place before we put our offer back on the table for our house...oh, I hope we get it!
The seller is still counting on us to pull through and we're still counting on it to be there when we're ready!
