The Godwin Girls

Chad's mom and memaw came for a visit; and it was so good to have memaw in our home! She hasn't been able to visit us for over 2 years; due to our long distance in the desert. PRAISE THE LORD FOR BEING CLOSER & THE SHORTER DISTANCE FOR MEMAW! Yea!
We had a great time and there was no shortage of laughter for the 3 days that they were here. =)
They drove down Thursday and we spent the afternoon showing them around and ate dinner at The Pier. I just love The Pier; it's on the water, literally, and is so laid back. You can eat, enjoy the view (and the waves), and the nice breeze...SO WONDERFUL! Every time I eat there I think to myself..."THIS IS THE LIFE!"







On Friday we, the girls, went to the outlets in Round Rock while Chad worked; I know he was glad to be working and not shopping with us! HA!

After our many hours of shopping, we came home to pick up the hubs and went to Bam's to eat. It was my first time to eat there and boy do they have good food! We sat on the patio and enjoyed some live music. Memaw even requested a song and sang along (from our table of course)!
We had such a good time with them and hope they will be back to visit soon.
